Every SEO agency now says it does AI search. Fewer have published research, real AI visibility results, or a clear way to measure what they do.
Demand is real. In AgencyAnalytics' 2026 benchmarks, 66% of agencies said clients are asking more for AEO and SEO for AI search, the top new service on the list.
And being cited matters. Seer Interactive's April 2026 study found brands cited in a Google AI Overview got about 120% more clicks than brands that weren't.
So we looked at 15 agencies and kept the 10 with a real AI search offer, public work to back it up, and clear information about who they serve. Checked September 2026.
A quick note first: we build Orchly, AI search optimization software. We're a platform, not an agency, and plenty of agencies use tools like ours for client work. We aren't affiliated with or paid by any agency on this list. Everything here comes from their public work, their own sites and client reviews.
Do you need an agency or a platform?
Hire an agency when you have no in-house SEO or content team, when you need strategy you don't have, or when the job is mostly digital PR, link building and content at a scale you can't staff.
Most agencies on this list start around $5,000 to $15,000 a month. That buys senior people and a lot of output.
If you already have a marketer or a small content team, you can run AI search optimization in house with a platform. That's what we build. Orchly is an agentic AI search optimization platform that tracks you in AI answers and Google, then helps you act on it:
- Real AI answers, daily. Tracks prompts in the actual ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews interfaces. Gemini, AI Mode, Claude and Grok are add-ons.
- Citations and Mention Gap. Shows every page AI cites, and the cited pages that name your competitors but not you.
- Perception and fact check. See the objections AI raises about you, and claims that contradict your approved facts.
- Content Agent. Turns lost prompts and decaying pages into drafts in your brand voice, published to your CMS after you approve.
- Activation Agent. Finds citation and backlink opportunities and sends outreach from your inbox after approval.
- Google data in one place. Daily rank tracking, Search Console and GA4 next to your AI visibility.
Plans start at $49/month (Essential) and $125/month (Pro), with a 7-day free trial. See Orchly pricing or start a free trial.
It's not either/or, either. Many agencies run client work on a platform, and Orchly has white-label reports and a workspace per client. See Orchly for agencies.

1. Siege Media: best for content-led GEO and digital PR
Siege Media is an Austin-based content marketing agency, founded in 2012, that now calls itself "the GEO agency built for the new search."
Its GEO service mixes bottom-of-funnel content written for AI answers, digital PR and research reports, Reddit community building, affiliate placements and quarterly content refreshes. Reporting covers LLM share of voice, citations and AI referral traffic.
It works with mid-market and enterprise brands in SaaS, fintech, ecommerce, healthcare, travel and more. On its SaaS page, Siege says it helped Zapier earn 47.2K AI Overview citations.
What stands out
- Published research. Its November 2025 study of 2.39M sessions across 7 LLMs found ChatGPT sent 83% of AI sessions but the least engaged traffic.
- Content and PR under one roof. Useful when AI answers lean on third-party sites, not just your blog.
- Honest timelines. Siege's own page says citation share builds over 3 to 6 months and that it's not a fit for brands chasing quick wins.
Things to consider
- Mid-market budgets. Clutch lists a $5,000+ minimum, but most projects there fall between $50,000 and $199,999.
- Content-first. If your problem is mostly technical, you'll want a more technical partner.
Best for: Mid-market and enterprise brands that want content, digital PR and GEO from one team.
Engagement: Custom pricing; Clutch lists a $5,000+ minimum project.
2. iPullRank: best for enterprise technical AI search
iPullRank is a New York agency founded in 2014 by Mike King, who Search Engine Land named its 2025 Search Marketer of the Year.
It sells AI search work as Relevance Engineering, a blend of information retrieval, content strategy, digital PR and measurement across AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and other surfaces. Its GEO service measures citation frequency and AI referral traffic.
Logos on its site include Target, Adidas, American Express and Nordstrom. In August 2025 it published The AI Search Manual, a free book-length guide to how AI search retrieves and cites content.
What stands out
- Deep technical thinking. Few agencies explain retrieval, embeddings and query fan-out as clearly.
- Free, detailed methodology. You can read how they work before you ever talk to sales.
- Enterprise experience. Its client list is heavy on large retail, finance and media brands.
Things to consider
- High minimum. Clutch lists a $50,000+ minimum project.
- Few AI-specific results. Its published case studies are mostly classic SEO wins, not AI visibility numbers.
Best for: Enterprise and mid-market brands with complex sites that need technical depth.
Engagement: Custom pricing; Clutch lists a $50,000+ minimum project.
3. Seer Interactive: best for enterprise AI search measurement
Seer Interactive is a Philadelphia agency and B Corp founded in 2002. It says it has done AI search work since January 2023.
Its GEO service, updated in August 2026, covers AI search KPIs, citation source analysis, testing and team training. It can start with a diagnostic phase, and it gives clients AI tracking through Scrunch.
Seer mostly serves enterprise clients. One published case study says it grew AI Overview citations 344% in five months for an unnamed outdoor living brand.
What stands out
- Widely cited research. Its April 2026 CTR study covered 53 brands and 5.47M queries.
- Test and measure. It publishes GEO experiments on schema, H1s and meta descriptions, not just opinions.
- Training included. Useful if you want your in-house team to learn AI search, not just outsource it.
Things to consider
- Premium rates. Clutch lists $200 to $300 an hour and a $10,000+ minimum project.
- Anonymized case studies. Most AI results don't name the client, and Clutch has only four reviews.
Best for: Enterprise teams that want rigorous AI search measurement and testing.
Engagement: Custom pricing; Clutch lists a $10,000+ minimum project.
4. Graphite: best for research-driven AEO for tech brands
Graphite is a growth agency led by CEO Ethan Smith, known for data-heavy SEO research.
Its AEO service covers prompt research, citation-ready content, brand sentiment, technical AEO, citation tracking and off-site work like Reddit. It works mostly with B2B, SaaS and consumer tech brands such as Webflow, n8n and MasterClass.
In a January 2026 case study, Graphite says Webflow's LLM share of voice went from 33% to 64%, and that signups from LLMs converted at 24%, compared with 4% from non-brand SEO.
What stands out
- Original research. Its October 2025 study found AI-written articles overtook human ones in late 2024, but mostly don't show up in Google or ChatGPT.
- A named AI search case. The Webflow case study ties AI visibility to signups.
- Tech-savvy clients. A good fit if your buyers already use AI tools heavily.
Things to consider
- No published pricing. We couldn't find minimums or a Clutch profile.
- Mostly SEO proof. Apart from Webflow, its headline results are classic organic growth.
Best for: Venture-backed tech and SaaS companies that like a research-led approach.
Engagement: Custom pricing; ask for a proposal.
5. Omniscient Digital: best for B2B SaaS
Omniscient Digital is an Austin agency, founded in 2019, that only works with B2B software companies.
Its GEO service runs from LLM opportunity and citation analysis to a technical review, a roadmap, execution (content, brand mentions, fixes) and ongoing monitoring.
Its Convert case study says LLM visibility grew 81% and AI citations 140% in 60 days.
What stands out
- Published pricing. Full-service engagements start at $10,000 a month, stated on its own site.
- Useful research. A January 2026 analysis of 23,000+ AI citations found earned media made up 48% of citations on branded prompts, and brands' own content only 23%.
- SaaS focus. Every client is B2B software, so the team knows the buying journey.
Things to consider
- B2B SaaS only. Ecommerce, local and consumer brands should look elsewhere.
- Smaller team. Clutch lists 10 to 49 people, and one reviewer wanted faster content delivery.
Best for: B2B SaaS companies with a real content budget.
Engagement: From $10,000/month (published).
6. Victorious: best for a dedicated SEO and AEO partner
Victorious is a San Francisco agency founded in 2013 that has done only SEO since 2016.
It sells GEO and AEO services: AI platform audits, AI crawler access, answer-first formatting, schema, link building and monitoring. It lists Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Copilot.
It serves enterprise, B2B, local and multi-location businesses in SaaS, finance, insurance, law, healthcare and more.
What stands out
- Published research. Its Q1 2026 Quarterly Search Report looked at 107,011 AI responses for 177 brands and found 89.8% had no AI mentions at all.
- SEO-only focus. No paid media upsell; search is the whole business.
- Pricing in the open. Its own blog says long-term SEO runs $5,000 to $20,000 a month.
Things to consider
- 12-month commitment. Victorious says it works on a 12-month cycle.
- High Clutch minimum. Clutch lists a $50,000+ minimum project and $300+ an hour.
Best for: Companies that want a long-term, search-only partner covering Google and AI answers.
Engagement: $5,000 to $20,000/month per its own blog, 12-month cycle.
7. Grow & Convert: best for bottom-of-funnel content
Grow & Convert is a content agency known for writing pages that target buyers close to a purchase.
Its SEO and GEO service covers buyer research, interview-based content, AI citation outreach, link building, technical SEO and analytics. It also sells AI citation outreach on its own and tracks clients with its own tool, Traqer AI.
In June 2026 it published a study of 19 client brands showing visibility was highest in Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, with ChatGPT at about a third of that.
What stands out
- Published pricing. "Starting at $10,000 per month" on its service page.
- Conversion focus. Its case studies talk about pipeline and revenue, not just traffic.
- Fresh data. Two June 2026 studies on how ChatGPT picks sources.
Things to consider
- Steep for early-stage companies. $10,000 a month is a lot before product-market fit.
- Needs buying-intent demand. The model works best when people already search for your category.
Best for: B2B SaaS and tech companies that want AI citations from content that sells.
Engagement: From $10,000/month (published).
8. First Page Sage: best for B2B lead generation
First Page Sage is a Bay Area agency founded in 2009 that says it launched one of the first GEO services, in May 2023.
Its GEO service focuses on getting clients into "best of" list articles, building authority on Google and Bing, review management, publicizing awards and monitoring sentiment across AI platforms.
It works mostly with B2B and mid-sized companies. Its case studies are anonymized; one says a plastic surgeon reached a 64% AI recommendation share.
What stands out
- Lots of published data. Its ChatGPT Conversion Rates report, updated September 2026, draws on 160+ client companies.
- Clear GEO playbook. List placements and reviews map to how AI answers pick brands.
- No long-term contracts. Its homepage says so.
Things to consider
- Self-ranked lists. Its own "top GEO agencies" post ranks First Page Sage first, so don't treat it as independent.
- Anonymized results. You can't check the clients behind its case studies.
Best for: B2B companies that want AI recommendations to turn into leads.
Engagement: Custom pricing; Clutch lists a $10,000+ minimum project.
9. Directive: best for B2B demand gen teams
Directive is a B2B performance marketing agency founded in 2013 in Orange County, California, with offices in North America and Europe.
It offers both GEO and AEO services, including entity mapping, AI content optimization, structured data and citation tracking. It sits next to paid media and RevOps.
Its Case Status case study says AI search work lifted demo bookings 20% in nine months, tracked across 39+ prompts in Scrunch.
What stands out
- Pipeline-first. Results are reported as demos and bookings, which sales teams care about.
- Full funnel. Helpful if you want AI search, paid and SEO planned together.
- Strong reviews. 4.8 on Clutch from 56 reviews.
Things to consider
- GEO is one service of many. Not a specialist AI search shop.
- Little original research. We found guides, not AI search studies.
Best for: B2B tech companies that want AI search inside a broader demand gen program.
Engagement: Custom pricing; ask for a proposal.
10. Petra Labs: best for enterprise AEO with revenue attribution
Petra Labs is a New York AEO firm founded in 2025. It raised a $5.2M seed round in July 2026 led by Work-Bench.
It combines its own measurement platform with an embedded team that handles content, PR and YouTube, plus custom attribution (media mix and multi-touch models) to tie AI search to revenue. Clients it names include Zapier and Novig.
In September 2026 it published "Prompt Radius," a 36,000-run study showing that small typos shifted about 20% of cited sources, and bigger rewrites 80% to 90%.
What stands out
- Revenue attribution. Few agencies try to connect AI visibility to pipeline this directly.
- Done-for-you. Its team handles strategy and execution.
- Published pricing. Clear minimums on its solutions page.
Things to consider
- Enterprise budgets. From $15,000 a month, with typical engagements of $250,000 to $600,000+ a year.
- Very young. Founded in 2025, with few independent reviews so far.
Best for: Enterprise brands that want AI search tied to revenue and can commit a large annual budget.
Engagement: From $15,000/month; typical $250,000 to $600,000+ per year (published).
How to choose an AI SEO agency
- Ask how they measure AI visibility. Which tool, how many prompts, how often, and whether they capture real answers or estimates.
- Ask which engines they cover. ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Copilot behave differently.
- Ask for a sample report. You should see share of voice, citations, sentiment and AI referral traffic, not just rankings.
- Know what kind of agency they are. Content-led, PR-led and technical agencies solve different problems. Match them to yours.
- Look for AI-specific results. Many case studies are classic SEO wins with "AI" added to the title.
- Check contract length and minimums. Some want 12 months; others are month to month.
- Ask who does the work. Senior strategists on the pitch don't always stay on the account.
- Check who owns the data. Make sure you keep your prompts, reports and content if you leave.
Questions to ask before you sign
- Which prompts will you track for us, and how did you choose them?
- What will change in the first 90 days, and what should we expect by month six?
- How do you connect AI visibility to traffic, leads or revenue?
- What share of the work is content, digital PR, and technical fixes?
- Can we see an AI search case study from a company like ours?
- What happens to our tracking and reports if we end the contract?
Which AI SEO agency should you choose?
- You're an enterprise with a complex site: iPullRank or Seer Interactive.
- You're a B2B SaaS company with a content budget: Omniscient Digital, Grow & Convert or Siege Media.
- You want AI search tied to revenue and have a big budget: Petra Labs.
- You'd rather run it in house: a platform like Orchly, from $49/month.
