Peec AI is one of the best-liked AI visibility trackers, and it shipped a lot in 2026. The limits are structural, though: 3 engines per plan, Claude as a premium upgrade, and Actions that hand you a to-do list without doing any of it.
These 10 alternatives cover what Peec doesn't, from all-engine tracking to agents that publish the fixes. Prices checked September 27, 2026.
Disclosure: we build Orchly, an agentic AI search optimization platform, so we're one of the tools here. We've signed up for and used most of the others ourselves, and some of what we share comes from customers who switched to us from them. Either way, we've tried to give you the good and the bad on every tool, ours included, so you can make the right call.

1. Orchly: best Peec AI alternative to get cited more in AI answers
Peec's Actions, launched in February 2026, score your citation gaps and tell you what to work on. Peec's own FAQ says you still create the content yourself.
Orchly starts at the same point and keeps going. Its agents turn each gap into a task, write or refresh the page, contact the sites AI cites, and publish to your CMS after you approve.
From gap to finished work
- Content Agent. It reads your prompts, citations and decaying pages, then proposes new articles and refreshes. Approve a task, and the AI article writer drafts it in your voice and publishes to WordPress, Webflow, Framer, Wix, Sanity or Ghost.
- Mention Gap plus outreach. Peec clusters sources into owned, editorial, reference and UGC. Orchly's Mention Gap shows which cited sources name your competitors but not you, and the Activation Agent runs link building and citation outreach to them from your Gmail, Zoho Mail or SMTP inbox.
- Site Health Agent. Audits every page for technical SEO and AI search issues, such as blocked crawlers, missing schema or thin answers, and ranks the fixes. Peec's crawlability check tells you which bots can reach you. This tells you what to change on the page.
- Custom agents. Describe a job in chat, like "refresh any page that loses 20% of its clicks and publish it to WordPress," and Orchly builds the agent. Available on Pro.
More engines on every plan
- More than 3 engines on self-serve. ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews are included on every plan. Gemini, Google AI Mode, Claude and Grok can be added to Essential or Pro. On Peec, Claude and Grok sit outside the standard model pool and are premium upgrades on higher tiers or Enterprise.
- Prompts split by brand and intent. Every prompt is tagged branded or non-branded, and commercial, informational or transactional, so you can see where you lose buyers who haven't heard of you yet.
The SEO half Peec doesn't cover
Peec added AI referral tracking through GA4 in September 2026. That shows visits from AI assistants. It doesn't show your Google search performance.
- Search Console and GA4 together. Orchly pulls clicks, impressions, keywords, conversions and revenue from Google Search Console and GA4, plus an indexing report for pages Google has skipped.
- Page 360 and rank tracking. One view per URL with Search Console, GA4 and AI visibility data, plus a Google rank tracker by country and device.
Where Orchly and Peec overlap
To be fair, Peec has caught up in several areas this year. Both tools now offer:
- Brand perception and fact checks. Peec launched Brand Perception in September 2026. Orchly's Perception tab shows attributes, competitor standing and objections, and checks every AI claim against your Brand Brain, a record of your products, pricing and positioning that the agents keep updating.
- AI shopping visibility. Peec added shopping analytics in June 2026. Orchly tracks your products in ChatGPT shopping answers, including the price AI quotes against your catalog price.
- Query fan-outs and AI traffic. Both show the background searches behind AI answers and AI bot activity on your site.

Where Orchly falls short
- Fewer prompts and seats at entry. Peec Starter gives 50 prompts and unlimited users. Orchly Essential gives 25 prompts and 1 user.
- Peec is stronger outside English. Its multi-country and multi-language setup is more mature.
- Peec's dashboard is simpler. If your team only wants to track and report, Peec has less to learn.
Pricing: Essential $49/month (25 prompts, 20 articles, 1 site, 1 user). Pro $125/month (100 prompts, 50 articles, 3 sites, 5 users, AI traffic analytics, custom agents). 7-day free trial.
Best for: teams that like Peec's data but don't have the people to act on it.
See Orchly pricing or start a free trial.
2. Profound: best for enterprise depth
Profound is the enterprise counterpart to Peec. It tracks 9 engines, has a consumer prompt-volume panel (which answers Peec's weakest point, search volume), and runs AI Marketer agents that draft and publish content.
- Why switch from Peec. Real prompt volume data, all engines including Claude, SSO and dedicated support.
- Where it falls short. In September 2026, after a $180M Series D, Profound removed its self-serve plans. It's now custom-priced Enterprise only, and agent work runs on credits.
Pricing: Custom, Enterprise only. Free 7-day trial on 3 engines.
Best for: Fortune 500 teams with a budget and people to run it.
3. Otterly.AI: best cheaper swap
Otterly.AI covers the same monitoring job at a lower entry price, and includes 4 engines instead of 3: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot.
- Why switch from Peec. $29 to start, unlimited seats, a built-in GEO audit, and an API and MCP from the Standard plan.
- Where it falls short. Only 15 prompts on Lite. AI Mode, Gemini and Claude are paid add-ons, so all 7 engines on 100 prompts cost about $416 a month. No content or outreach.
Pricing: Lite $29/month (15 prompts), Standard $189/month (100 prompts).
Best for: small teams that want monitoring on a tighter budget.
4. Promptmonitor: best cheap way to track Claude and Grok
Promptmonitor includes ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok and DeepSeek on every plan. Peec treats Claude and Grok as premium upgrades.
- Why switch from Peec. Claude and Grok tracking from about $39 a month, unlimited seats from the Growth plan, and contact details for the sources AI cites.
- Where it falls short. Google AI Mode and AI Overviews only start on the $129 Pro plan. The Starter plan refreshes twice a week with 1 seat.
Pricing: Starter from $29/month billed yearly (25 prompts), Growth from $39/month billed yearly (50 prompts, daily), Pro from $129/month.
Best for: teams whose buyers use Claude and who want it included.
5. Scrunch: best for technical AEO
Scrunch focuses on how AI crawlers read your site. Its Agent Experience Platform (AXP) serves AI-optimized versions of your pages to bots, and it tracks agent traffic page by page.
- Why switch from Peec. 350 prompts on the entry plan, personas, page audits and a way to control what bots receive.
- Where it falls short. A $250 monthly floor on yearly billing, AXP needs developer time, and there's no content or outreach.
Pricing: Starter $300/month ($250 billed yearly), Growth $500/month.
Best for: teams with engineers who own the website.
6. AthenaHQ: best for wide engine coverage at a published price
AthenaHQ tracks up to 11 models on its $295 Starter plan, including Claude, Grok, DeepSeek and Meta AI, and adds an Action Center and a content optimization agent.
- Why switch from Peec. Many more engines without Enterprise, plus a free tier with 5 engines.
- Where it falls short. Credits (1 per AI response) can run out in the first week, there's no plan between free and $295, and hallucination detection is Enterprise only.
Pricing: Free tier. Starter $295/month (3,600 credits, 11 models).
Best for: growth teams that want many engines and guided recommendations.
7. Writesonic: best for content-led teams
Writesonic started as an AI writer and added GEO tracking, so content creation and WordPress publishing are built in.
- Why switch from Peec. It writes the content Peec's Actions ask for, and connects Search Console on every plan.
- Where it falls short. Plans below Enterprise track only ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews. Perplexity and Claude need Enterprise, and sentiment starts on the $399 plan.
Pricing: Starter $79/month billed yearly (50 prompts), Growth $399/month.
Best for: teams whose main output is articles.
8. Ahrefs Brand Radar: best for market research without setup
Ahrefs Brand Radar looks up any brand across more than 470 million prompts modeled from Ahrefs' keyword data, so you get competitive research without writing prompts first.
- Why switch from Peec. Instant category-wide data, prompt volumes tied to search data, and Ahrefs' backlink tools next to it.
- Where it falls short. The prompts are synthetic, not real conversations. Tracking your own prompts costs extra and needs a paid Ahrefs plan.
Pricing: AI Visibility Index from $199/month per platform, sold on its own. Custom prompts need an Ahrefs plan.
Best for: Ahrefs users researching their category.
9. Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit: best for Semrush teams
Semrush's AI Visibility Toolkit adds ChatGPT, AI Overviews, AI Mode, Gemini and Perplexity tracking to the SEO suite many teams already pay for, with real prompt volume estimates.
- Why switch from Peec. Search volume, rankings and an AI search site audit in one tool.
- Where it falls short. 25 prompts per domain, weekly brand performance data, and per-domain pricing. It recommends but doesn't execute.
Pricing: $99/month per domain, billed yearly.
Best for: SEO teams already on Semrush.
10. SE Visible: best for agencies on a budget
SE Ranking's SE Visible prices by brand, includes unlimited seats, and covers AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity without engine add-ons.
- Why switch from Peec. 5 engines included instead of 3, and 450 prompts across 5 brands on its Core plan.
- Where it falls short. Claude is still listed as coming soon, there's no Grok or Copilot, and it tracks without creating content or doing outreach.
Pricing: Basic $99/month (3 brands), Core $189/month.
Best for: agencies tracking several brands.
What Peec shipped in 2026
Most Peec alternatives articles still describe Peec as a basic tracker. It isn't anymore:
- February: Actions, which score citation sources and split them into on-page and off-page work.
- March: a pricing update with more capacity per plan.
- April: an MCP server for paid plans.
- June: AI Shopping Analytics, with SKU-level visibility.
- July: an Ads page tracking sponsored placements in AI answers.
- September: AI Referrals through GA4, and Brand Perception with objections and fact checks.
Peec raised a $21M Series A in November 2025 and reported more than $10M in annual revenue by May 2026. It isn't going anywhere.
When to stay with Peec
- 3 engines are enough. If your buyers mostly use ChatGPT, AI Overviews and one more engine, the cap doesn't hurt.
- You have people to do the work. Peec's Actions are a solid backlog if a writer and an outreach person pick them up.
- You need many seats or many markets. Unlimited users and strong multi-country support are real advantages.
Which Peec alternative should you choose?
- You want agents that act on the gaps, not just a list of fixes: Orchly.
- You need Claude at a low price: Promptmonitor, or Orchly with the Claude add-on.
- You want real prompt volume and enterprise support: Profound.
- You want to spend less: Otterly.AI.
