Conductor is one of the best enterprise SEO platforms around, and in 2026 it bet the company on AEO. It also costs a lot. There's no public price, and Vendr's data puts the median contract at about $49,000 a year.
When customers tell us why they're leaving, it's usually the same three things. The price, the weeks of setup before it pays off, and a platform that's hard to use unless you have a dedicated SEO lead. Reviewers on G2 and Capterra say the same.
So here are 10 alternatives, from like-for-like enterprise suites to lighter AI search tools, plus ours. Checked September 2026.
Full disclosure: we build Orchly, and it's one of the tools on this list. We've used most of these platforms ourselves, some notes come from customers who switched away from them, and the rest comes from G2 and other user reviews. Every tool gets its good and bad points here, ours included.

1. Orchly: best Conductor alternative to track and improve AI visibility at a fraction of the cost
Conductor gives big teams a system of record for SEO and AEO. Orchly covers the same two jobs, AI answers and Google, then adds agents that draft the content, outreach and site fixes for you to approve.
It starts at $49 a month, and a new workspace is ready in about ten minutes. Orchly reads your site and suggests topics, prompts and competitors, so there's no implementation project.
The trade is clear. You get far less enterprise SEO data than Conductor, but a much shorter path from "we're not in the answer" to shipped work.
AI search tracking from the real interfaces
- Real answers, every day. Orchly captures answers from the actual ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews interfaces, not a cheaper API. Gemini, AI Mode, Claude and Grok are add-ons.
- The metrics you already report. AI Visibility Score, Share of Voice, sentiment, average position and a competitor leaderboard, with prompts tagged branded or non-branded and by intent.
- Why AI picks a source. The Citations tab groups every cited page, and Mention Gap shows pages that name your competitors but not you.
- What AI gets wrong. Fact check compares AI answers to your approved facts in Brand Brain and marks each claim Supported or Contradicted.
Google data next to AI data
Conductor users are used to seeing SEO and AEO side by side. Orchly keeps that. It tracks keywords daily by country and device, next to Search Console and GA4 clicks, conversions and revenue.
- One page, every signal. Page 360 shows a URL's Search Console, GA4 and AI visibility data together, and every tracked page gets SEO, AEO and GEO scores.
- AI crawler visits. On Pro, you can see GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot visits next to human referrals from AI, once you connect your hosting or CDN.
Agents that write, pitch and fix
- Content Agent. Turns lost prompts and decaying Search Console pages into article and refresh tasks, drafts in your brand voice, and publishes to WordPress, Webflow, Framer, Wix, Sanity or Ghost after you approve.
- Activation Agent. Finds backlink and citation opportunities, plus the Reddit threads and YouTube videos AI cites, then sends outreach from your Gmail, Zoho or SMTP inbox after you approve.
- Site Health Agent. Audits pages for technical SEO and AI search issues, ranks them by priority and suggests a fix for each.
- Custom agents. On Pro, you can build your own agents on a schedule, webhook or chat trigger. Here's how Orchly's agents work.
Where Orchly falls short
- Not an enterprise SEO data suite. Our keyword and backlink data is smaller than Semrush, Ahrefs or SE Ranking, and there's nothing like Conductor's 60,000+ keyword Enterprise tier. Large SEO programs may want to pair Orchly with one of those.
- Engines cost extra. Gemini, AI Mode, Claude and Grok are add-ons, and Copilot isn't tracked in the app. Conductor covers all of them.
Pricing: Essential $49/month (25 prompts daily, 1 site). Pro $125/month (100 prompts, 3 sites, 5 users, AI traffic analytics, custom agents, API). Enterprise custom. 7-day free trial.
Best for: teams that want AI search and SEO tracking plus agents that act on it, without a five-figure contract.
See Orchly pricing or start a free trial.
2. BrightEdge: best like-for-like enterprise suite
BrightEdge is the closest match to Conductor. Both are enterprise SEO platforms with AI search built in, both sell through custom quotes, and BrightEdge says it serves 57% of the Fortune 500.
Its AI Catalyst module tracks brand presence and sentiment in Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity. BrightEdge says it's included with every SEO Platform subscription.
It has shipped a lot in 2026. AI Hyper Cube and AI Agent Insights launched in March, and Agent Edge followed on August 26, detecting AI agents on your site and serving them lighter formats like Markdown.
Why switch from Conductor
- Agent-side tooling. Agent Edge changes how your site responds to AI agents, not just how you measure them.
- AI tracking without credits. AI Catalyst comes with the platform instead of a yearly credit allowance.
- A familiar model. Keyword, content and technical data stay in one enterprise suite, so the switch is a migration, not a new way of working.
Where it falls short
- Not cheaper. Vendr puts the median contract around $50,000 a year, close to Conductor, and add-on modules can push it higher.
- Slow and complex. G2 reviewers mention slow load times, data overload and a long training curve.
- Fewer AI engines. AI Catalyst centers on AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, while Conductor lists nine AI experiences.
Pricing: custom annual contracts. Vendr median about $50,000/year.
Best for: Fortune 500 teams that want another full enterprise suite.
3. seoClarity: best enterprise suite with published starting prices
seoClarity is one of the few enterprise SEO platforms that publishes a starting price. Core starts at $2,500 a month and Enterprise at $4,500.
Its AI search product, ArcAI, tracks ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Mode, Gemini, DeepSeek, Claude, Copilot and Grok. ArcAI 3.0 launched on April 1, 2026 with AI shopping analysis, brand accuracy monitoring, prompt research from clickstream data, agentic content briefs and an MCP server.
It's a natural fit for teams that want Conductor's depth with more predictable budgeting.
Why switch from Conductor
- You know the floor. Published starting prices make budgeting and procurement easier.
- Eight AI engines. Claude, Copilot, Grok and DeepSeek are all on the list.
- Brand accuracy tools. Accuracy and Narrative Control flags factual errors about your brand in AI answers and gives you a workflow to fix them.
Where it falls short
- Still enterprise money. Core to Enterprise works out to $30,000 to $54,000 a year before ArcAI, which is quoted separately.
- Briefs, not publishing. The agentic workflow produces content briefs, so your team still writes and ships the pages.
Pricing: Core from $2,500/month, Professional from $3,200, Enterprise from $4,500. ArcAI quoted separately.
Best for: enterprise SEO teams that want wide AI engine coverage and a price they can plan around.
4. Botify: best for very large technical and ecommerce sites
Botify is built around crawling, log analysis and technical SEO for huge sites. Conductor leans toward content and marketing teams. Botify leans toward the technical side.
Its AI Visibility dashboard tracks ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Mode, and the April 2026 release added Gemini and AI Overviews. The same release added Claude-User, Claude-SearchBot and Google-Agent to its log analysis.
On March 24, 2026, Botify launched Agentic Feeds, which builds AI-ready product feeds for shopping agents. General availability is planned for the second half of 2026.
Why switch from Conductor
- Log-level detail. LogAnalyzer shows exactly how search and AI bots crawl your site.
- Fixes at the edge. SpeedWorkers pre-renders and caches pages so bots can read them fast.
- Built for commerce. Agentic Feeds targets retailers that expect to sell through AI agents.
Where it falls short
- The most expensive here. Vendr puts the median contract around $74,000 a year.
- Hard for marketers. G2 reviewers mention a steep learning curve and slow dashboard setup.
- Sales only. There's no free trial or self-serve plan.
Pricing: custom. Vendr median about $74,000/year.
Best for: enterprise ecommerce sites and publishers with millions of URLs.
5. Semrush Enterprise AIO: best for engine coverage on top of SEO data
Semrush Enterprise AIO is Semrush's enterprise AI visibility product. It tracks ChatGPT, AI Overviews, AI Mode, Perplexity, Copilot, Grok, Gemini, Claude and DeepSeek, with unlimited prompt tracking.
It sits next to the Semrush keyword and backlink data most SEO teams already know. Adobe closed its acquisition of Semrush on April 28, 2026.
Why switch from Conductor
- The same engines in a familiar tool. Its engine list closely matches Conductor's.
- Forecasting and attribution. Segment-level forecasts and ROI attribution are part of the Enterprise package.
- A cheaper way in. If enterprise is overkill, the AI Visibility Toolkit starts at $99 per domain a month.
Where it falls short
- Another custom quote. Enterprise AIO is sold through sales, so you're back to negotiating.
- New owner. With Adobe now in charge, it's too early to say how packaging and pricing will change.
Pricing: Enterprise AIO custom. AI Visibility Toolkit $99/month per domain, billed yearly.
Best for: enterprise teams already on Semrush.
6. Profound: best for AI-only visibility depth
Profound focuses only on AI search. Enterprise tracks nine engines, including ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, DeepSeek and AI Mode, and adds AI Marketer agents, crawler analytics from CDN logs and a Prompt Volumes panel.
It raised a $180M Series D at a $1.8B valuation on September 15, 2026. That same month it removed its $99 and $399 self-serve plans, so it's now a free trial plus custom Enterprise.
Why switch from Conductor
- Deeper on AI answers. Front-end capture, prompt volumes and agent analytics go further on AI than most suites.
- Agents with approval. AI Marketer agents handle content refreshes and media outreach, with a review step before anything publishes.
- Try before the sales cycle. The free 7-day trial shows real data first.
Where it falls short
- No SEO suite. There's no rank tracker, keyword research or site audit, so you'd keep another SEO tool.
- Enterprise only. With self-serve plans gone, pricing is custom again.
Pricing: free 7-day trial (50 prompts daily). Enterprise custom.
Best for: large brands that want a dedicated AI visibility platform next to their SEO stack.
7. Ahrefs: best for SEO research data at a lower price
Ahrefs isn't an enterprise AEO platform. But for teams leaving Conductor, it covers the SEO research side for a fraction of the cost, with Enterprise at $1,499 a month on annual billing.
AI visibility comes through Brand Radar, from $199 a month. It looks up any brand across AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot and Grok using a large index of modeled prompts. Grok was added in April 2026.
Why switch from Conductor
- Keyword and backlink data. Ahrefs' index is the main reason most SEO teams use it.
- No setup for AI data. Look up your brand or any competitor instantly.
- Published prices. Plans start at $129 a month.
Where it falls short
- Modeled prompts. Brand Radar prompts come from keyword data, not your real prompts. Custom prompts cost extra and need a paid Ahrefs plan.
- Limited action. Reviewers say it's strong on data but offers little help closing AI visibility gaps.
Pricing: Lite $129, Standard $249, Advanced $449, Enterprise $1,499/month (annual). Brand Radar from $199/month.
Best for: SEO teams that mainly need research data and quick competitor lookups.
8. SE Ranking: best budget SEO suite with AI tracking
SE Ranking covers rank tracking, audits, backlinks and keyword research, with an AI Search add-on and SE Visible for prompt tracking. Core is $129 a month and the AI Search add-on is $89.
SE Visible tracks ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Mode, Perplexity and AI Overviews daily, with unlimited seats. Basic is $99 for 200 prompts across three brands.
Why switch from Conductor
- Much lower cost. G2 reviewers often describe it as covering most of what the big suites do for far less.
- Self-serve. A 14-day trial and no sales cycle.
- Agency extras. The Agency Pack adds white-label on your own domain.
Where it falls short
- Two products to stitch together. SEO lives in SE Ranking and prompt tracking in SE Visible, on separate plans.
- Engine gaps. Claude is listed as coming soon, and there's no Copilot or Grok.
Pricing: Core $129/month ($103.20 billed yearly), AI Search add-on $89. SE Visible from $99/month. 14-day trial.
Best for: mid-size teams and agencies cutting costs.
9. Search Atlas: best for automated on-site fixes
Search Atlas is a full SEO suite with an LLM Visibility module and OTTO, a pixel that pushes SEO fixes to your site. Starter is $79 a month, and AI visibility across ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Mode starts on Growth at $159.
It suits lean SEO teams more than large marketing orgs.
Why switch from Conductor
- Execution built in. OTTO makes on-site changes for you, and reviewers credit it with saving time.
- Self-serve pricing. Plans run from $79 to Agency at $999 and up.
- Well rated. It holds 4.7 on both G2 and Capterra.
Where it falls short
- JavaScript edits on live pages. Many enterprise dev and legal teams won't approve a pixel changing production pages.
- Thinner AI coverage. Perplexity and Copilot start at Pro, and there's no Claude.
- Billing complaints. Trustpilot reviews mention billing and cancellation issues.
Pricing: Starter $79, Growth $159, Pro $319, Agency from $999/month.
Best for: lean SEO teams that want fixes applied automatically.
10. Scrunch: best for serving AI-ready pages to bots
Scrunch tracks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, AI Mode, AI Overviews and Meta AI on every plan. Its AXP feature serves AI-optimized versions of your pages to AI crawlers.
Sitecore acquired Scrunch in June 2026, so expect closer ties to Sitecore's CMS and enterprise customers.
Why switch from Conductor
- Seven engines on every plan. Claude and Meta AI included, no add-ons.
- Self-serve start. Starter is $300 a month with a 7-day free trial.
- Agent traffic. It monitors how AI bots visit your site.
Where it falls short
- Diagnoses more than it fixes. There's no content creation or outreach, and AXP can turn into an engineering project.
- Weak reporting. Reviewers flag limited reports and exports.
- No SEO data. You'll still need an SEO suite next to it.
Pricing: Starter $300/month ($250 billed yearly), Growth $500, Enterprise custom. 7-day free trial.
Best for: enterprise brands, especially Sitecore users, that want AI-ready pages.
11. AthenaHQ: best for wide engine coverage at mid-market prices
AthenaHQ tracks 11 engines on Starter, including Claude, Grok, DeepSeek, Meta AI and Mistral. It also has an Action Center and a content optimization agent.
In August 2026 it added Shopping Pages synced with Shopify, ChatGPT Ads reporting and coverage for 185 markets.
Why switch from Conductor
- More engines for less. Eleven engines on a $295 plan.
- Free tier. 300 credits across five engines to try it first.
- Happy users. G2 rates it 4.9.
Where it falls short
- Credits burn fast. 3,600 credits across 11 engines is about 10 prompts a day, and G2 reviewers describe using a month's credits in a week.
- Key features are Enterprise only. That includes the Knowledge Base, hallucination detection and multi-region tracking.
- No SEO suite. Rankings and technical SEO live elsewhere.
Pricing: free (300 credits). Starter $295/month (3,600 credits). Enterprise custom.
Best for: mid-market brands that want broad AI engine coverage.
What changed at Conductor in 2026
- AgentStack. A suite of native LLM apps, including a ChatGPT app, plus MCP, APIs and turnkey agents. In February, Conductor said it closed its fiscal year with 50+ new enterprise logos, including Airbnb, Coca-Cola and Atlassian.
- AI Search Performance relaunch (April 1). Conductor calls it the industry's only system of record for AEO, tying AI visibility to content performance, intent and topic-level competitor benchmarks. Per Trakkr's review, it covers nine AI experiences.
- Optimizely partnership (June 10). It combines Optimizely's log-based AI agent traffic with Conductor's AEO and SEO data.
- New CEO (September 24). Chief Product Officer Wei Zheng became CEO, and co-founder Seth Besmertnik moved to the board. Conductor says Conductor AI grew customers 12x year over year and promises new products at its C3 event on October 28.
- AI credits are still plan-gated. Per the pricing page, Essentials includes no AI search credits, Growth includes 2,500 a year and Enterprise lists "2,500+".
When to stay with Conductor
- You run a big multi-site SEO program. Enterprise covers 60,000+ keywords, 75+ competitors and 10+ sites, and Monitoring watches your pages around the clock.
- You need every major AI engine in one enterprise contract. Conductor covers ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, Grok, Perplexity, AI Overviews and AI Mode, with SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 in place, per Trakkr.
- Support is a priority. Reviewers on G2, Capterra and Gartner Peer Insights consistently praise Conductor's support team.
- Your renewal is after October 28. Wait to see what Conductor announces at C3 before you move.
Which Conductor alternative should you choose?
- You want AI search and SEO with agents that act on it, for far less: Orchly.
- You want another full enterprise suite: BrightEdge or seoClarity.
- You run a huge technical or ecommerce site: Botify.
