10 Best Copilot Rank Tracking Tools in 2026 (That Track Copilot)

Microsoft Copilot rank tracking tools show whether Copilot mentions your brand, where you appear in its answer, and which pages it cites. Copilot answers from Bing's index, and Microsoft says the Copilot family of apps passed 150 million monthly users, much of it inside Windows, Edge and Microsoft 365.

Many lists recommend tools for Copilot that don't actually track it. We checked each tool's pricing page and noted exactly what each one covers. Checked September 2026.

Disclosure: Orchly is our product, an agentic AI search optimization platform, so it's on this list. We signed up for most of the tools below and used them ourselves, and some notes come from customers who moved to Orchly from them. We've shared what's good and what isn't for each one, including ours.

Tools that don't track Copilot

Some lists recommend these for Copilot, but as of September 2026 their pricing pages don't include it: Scrunch, SE Ranking, Promptwatch, Promptmonitor, Trakkr, Nightwatch and Knowatoa. Profound tracks Copilot only on Enterprise.

How Copilot picks its sources

  • It uses Bing's index. If Bing doesn't index or trust a page, Copilot won't cite it. Submit your sitemap in Bing Webmaster Tools.
  • It favors retail and reference sites. Ahrefs found in September 2026 Amazon (16.8%), Walmart (12.6%) and Wikipedia (7.6%) lead Copilot's citations.
  • A few pages get most citations. A February 2026 Search Influence study found the top 4 pages earned 90% of citations on one site.
  • It sells now. Microsoft launched Copilot Checkout in January 2026, so product pages matter more.

Which Copilot rank tracker should you choose?
