How to connect a CMS to track AI traffic
Connect Cloudflare, Vercel, WordPress, and other platforms so Orchly can read your AI bot logs and referral traffic.
AI traffic analytics works by reading your site’s request logs, so it can tell an AI crawler apart from a real visitor. Before any data shows up, you connect the platform your site runs on. Orchly supports Cloudflare, Vercel, WordPress, Webflow, and Framer, and you can also use Google Analytics.
You’ll set this up from the AI Traffic Analytics area, in its integration settings.
Pick the method that matches your stack
How you connect depends on where your site is hosted:
- Cloudflare. Add an Orchly Worker from your Cloudflare dashboard (Workers & Pages). It reads requests at the edge, so it catches every bot, including ones that never run JavaScript.
- WordPress. Install the Orchly AI Traffic plugin from WordPress Admin, then connect it under Settings. The plugin streams your request data to Orchly.
- Vercel. Connect your Vercel project so Orchly can read its logs.
- Webflow and Framer. Connect the site directly through the platform integration.
- Google Analytics. If you’d rather not touch your hosting, connect GA4 and Orchly reads AI referral visits from it.
Server and edge methods like Cloudflare and the WordPress plugin see every request, including AI crawlers that don’t run JavaScript. Google Analytics only sees visits that fire its tracking script, so it captures AI referral visitors but misses pure crawler hits. Use a log-based method if you want the full crawler picture.
Connect it
- Open AI Traffic Analytics and go to its integration or platform settings.
- Choose your platform from the list.
- Follow the steps shown for that platform (add the Cloudflare Worker, install the WordPress plugin, or connect Vercel, Webflow, Framer, or Google Analytics).
- Confirm the connection, then give it a little time to start collecting.
Running WordPress behind Cloudflare? Connect both. Orchly will use the most complete source so nothing slips through the cracks.
Once data starts flowing, head to the Analytics tab to read it. See how to track AI crawler and referral traffic.
