How to connect Google Analytics 4 to Orchly

Connect a GA4 property to combine traffic and conversion data with your Search Console keywords inside Orchly.

Updated on June 13, 2026

Search Console tells you what people searched to find you. Google Analytics 4 tells you what they did after they arrived: sessions, users, conversions, and revenue. Connecting GA4 puts that next to your keyword data so you can see the full journey from search to sale.

This takes a couple of minutes. You sign in with Google, then pick the GA4 property you want this workspace to track.

What you need

A Google account with access to the GA4 property you want to track. If you can open the property in Google Analytics today, you can connect it here.

Step 1: Open the integration

Go to Settings, then the Integrations tab, find Google Analytics, and click Connect.

Step 2: Sign in with Google

Orchly sends you to Google to sign in and approve access. This is a full-page redirect rather than a popup, so do not be surprised when the whole tab changes. After you approve, Google sends you back to Orchly.

Orchly only reads your data

The connection is read-only. Orchly reads your analytics reports. It never changes your GA4 configuration or sends data back into Google Analytics.

Step 3: Pick your property

Back in Orchly, a window titled Finish connecting Google Analytics appears. It asks you to choose the GA4 property to track for this workspace, which is required before any data can sync.

  • Open the Select a property dropdown.
  • Choose the property that matches this workspace’s website.
  • Click Finish setup.

Orchly saves that property and immediately starts backfilling your recent history. You do not need to keep the tab open.

What GA4 adds to Orchly

Once it syncs, your analytics data shows up alongside your search data, with period-over-period comparisons. You get metrics like:

MetricWhat it tells you
Sessions and usersHow much traffic you are getting, and from how many people
New usersHow many are first-time visitors
Conversions and conversion rateHow often visits turn into the actions you care about
RevenueThe money tied to those conversions
Engagement rateHow engaged visitors are once they land

Managing the connection

From Settings → Integrations, the Google Analytics card shows a Connected badge once it is live. Its menu lets you View Details, Reconnect if access lapses, or Disconnect.

Connect Search Console too

GA4 pairs best with Search Console. Together they show both the search that brought someone in and what they did next. See connect Google Search Console.
